Delhi Weather Forecast: The weather in Delhi appears to be shifting again on Thursday. Skies over Delhi-NCR have remained overcast since this morning. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ for storms and rain in Delhi. It predicts partly cloudy skies today (June 11), with the possibility of dark clouds gathering in the afternoon. Light rain accompanied by thunderstorms is also expected. By evening, wind speeds in Delhi-NCR could reach 60–70 km/h.

The maximum temperature for the day is expected to range between 40°C and 42°C, with a minimum of 24°C to 26°C.

RWFC New Delhi has announced on the social media platform ‘X’ that there is a high probability of light rain, lightning, hailstorms, or storms (accompanied by strong winds of 30–50 km/h) in Hastinapur, Chandpur, and Amroha (Uttar Pradesh). Light to moderate rain, accompanied by light thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–50 km/h), is expected.
Rain Expected in UP
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for dust storms and rain across several districts of Uttar Pradesh—including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, and Noida—from June 11 to June 13. This shift in weather is attributed to an active Western Disturbance and is expected to persist until June 13. Weather conditions in the state may change abruptly during this period. Strong winds at 60–80 km/h are likely in both western and eastern UP. Several districts may experience thunderstorms with rain and hailstorms.
