UGC NET Admit Card 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the ugc net june 2026 examination on June 21 at various centres across the country in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. According to the Commission, the examination will last for three hours (180 minutes). The National Testing Agency (NTA) will very soon release the UGC NET admit cards on its official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Once released, students appearing for the examination will be able to download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth.

Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding NEET UG 2026 shows no signs of abating. Although there are still a few days remaining until the NEET UG examination, claims are circulating on social media and Telegram that question papers for a potential NEET UG re-test are allegedly being sold.
The news has caused a stir among medical aspirants across the country. The NTA has officially clarified that it is closely monitoring all such claims circulating on social media and Telegram. The agency has reassured candidates that these matters have been referred to ‘Cyber Dost’ and the relevant cyber crime units.
When will the Exam City Slip be released?
It is anticipated that the City Slip for the examination may be released by June 10. This slip will provide you with information about the city assigned as your examination centre.

When will the Admit card be released?
The exact address of the examination centre, reporting time, and shift details will be provided exclusively on the admit card. The hall ticket is expected to be released 4 to 5 days before the examination. However, no official information regarding the specific release date of the admit card has been shared yet.
Do not make the mistake of carrying electronic items inside the UGC NET examination hall. You are strictly prohibited from bringing various gadgets—including mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, and pen drives—into the examination centre. Doing so may even result in you being barred from taking the examination.
Dress Code
In accordance with the examination centre’s dress code, please wear only comfortable clothing. Refrain from wearing any jewellery, garments with intricate embroidery, or clothing with multiple pockets.
1. Along with your UGC NET Admit Card, you must carry at least two government-issued photo identity cards. Examples include the Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport.
2. Candidates are advised to carry the specific photo identity card that was used during the submission of their application form.
3. Candidates are required to reach the examination centre at least 30–40 minutes before the scheduled reporting time.
4. Please note that you will not be permitted to enter the premises once the gates have closed.
