LPG Rules: Attention LPG users! Bharatgas commercial gas cylinders will no longer be available without this code; delivery rules have changed. Bharatgas has made a major change to the rules for the delivery of commercial cylinders. Customers will now need to share their DAC code to receive their cylinders. Learn how the new DAC code system will work:
DAC code is like OTP verification
Now, commercial LPG cylinder delivery will be different. After receiving the cylinder, the customer will have to share a special DAC code, only then will the delivery be considered complete. This system will work much like OTP verification. The company says this will help reduce incorrect deliveries, fraudulent entries, and customer complaints. This facility has been launched specifically for hotels, restaurants, shops, and other commercial LPG users.
The code will have to be shared only after receiving the cylinder
The company has specifically urged customers not to share the DAC code before receiving the cylinder. Bharatgas states that this step is crucial for customer safety. Sharing the code early could increase the risk of incorrect delivery or system malfunction. Therefore, customers should first check the cylinder and then disclose the DAC.
Under the new system, a digital cash memo will be sent to the customer upon successful delivery. This will provide customers with an online record of each delivery, and payment and delivery information will be available on their mobile devices. This will also reduce the need for paper bills.
In this new system, it is very important that the registered mobile number of the customer is active, because all the information and code will come to that number only. If a customer’s number is switched off, then it should be updated immediately. The company has also strictly urged not to share the DAC code with any unknown person.
Customers will have to keep these things in mind
Commercial LPG users should always keep their registered mobile number updated. The DAC code should not be shared with strangers. The safest method is to share the code only after receiving the cylinder. Commercial LPG delivery has often faced problems with incorrect entries, delivery disputes, and fraudulent complaints. Bharatgas says that after the DAC system is implemented, cylinders will only be delivered to the correct customer. This will ensure the authenticity of the delivery.
