Speaking of pricing, the automatic variant of the Maruti Fronx comes at ₹8.15 lakh (ex-showroom). When purchased in a city like Delhi, its on-road price reaches approximately ₹9.14 lakh. This amount includes ₹57,000 RTO charges and approximately ₹43,000 insurance. This means you’ll have to pay an additional ₹1 lakh before you even get the keys.
EMI
If you take out a loan of Rs 7.15 lakh from a bank with a down payment of Rs 2 lakh, at an interest rate of 9% and a tenure of 7 years, your EMI will be approximately Rs 11,499 per month. This means you’ll have to pay the same amount to the bank every month for seven years.
Design
The Fronx Automatic is quite attractive to look at. Its design is somewhat coupe-SUV-like, with a sloping roofline and sculpted tail section, giving it a stylish crossover feel, not just an SUV. The front grille is bold and is available in a chrome or gloss finish. The Plus or Alpha variants also get LED projector headlamps and LED DRLs.
Engine
- A 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces around 99 bhp of power and 147.6 Nm of torque.
- The second option is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces around 89 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque.
Features
The interior panels feature a dual-tone colour theme, gloss-black panels, silver finish switches, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, and a premium cabin feel.
