What ingredients are required to make Banarasi Aloo Bhujia?

2 cups gram flour

2 medium-sized grated boiled potatoes

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Oil

Salt to taste

Water as needed

How is Banarasi Aloo Bhujia made?

Step 1-First, put the grated potatoes in a large bowl. Then, add salt, gram flour, turmeric, red chilli, and cumin seeds. Mix them all well.

Step 2 – Now add water little by little and knead into a soft and smooth dough, but don’t let it be too thin.

Step 3 – Now, you need to insert a thin mesh plate into the Bhujia dispenser. Then, fill a portion of the dough into the machine and close it.

Step 4 – Now put oil in a pan and heat it on a medium flame, but keep in mind that the oil should not be too hot.

Step 5 – Now, after the oil is hot, gently rotate the machine from top to bottom, and add the bhujia in circular motions. After 1 to 2 minutes, the bhujia will become crispy. Fry until lightly golden on both sides. Then, fry them on tissue paper.

Step 6- Now let the Bhujia cool down and then store it in an airtight container.
