Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026: The Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the undisputed king of Indian roads and a favorite of middle-class families, is now set to return in its largest and most modern avatar. According to media reports, Maruti is set to update its popular compact SUV with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a powerful 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. Having dominated the market for the past decade, the Brezza is now set to be even more high-tech and safe, making it not only appealing to younger customers but also setting new benchmarks in safety.

Maruti Brezza Price

Maruti Suzuki has always positioned the Brezza in the value-for-money segment, and even with the launch of the 2026 model, it has made every effort to keep its starting price within the reach of the common man. Currently, the ex-showroom price of the Brezza, the base model (LXi), starts at approximately ₹825,900. If you’re looking for more features and style, the VXi model is available for ₹9,25,900, and the top-end ZXi+ for around ₹11,50,900.

For those seeking relief from rising petrol prices, the CNG model starts at ₹9,16,900, while the automatic variant, which offers clutchless driving pleasure, is available for around ₹10,59,900. In cities like Delhi, on-road prices start at around ₹9.16 lakh, going up to around ₹15 lakh for the top model, which may vary slightly depending on state taxes and insurance costs.

New and Muscular Look

Maruti has made significant design changes to the new Brezza 2026 facelift, giving it a more premium and rugged look. The front now features a brand-new, wider grille, with a striking chrome bar running through the center, enhancing the car’s appearance. At the rear, you’ll find modern, connected LED taillamps that give the car a distinct identity at night. New silver skid plates and a more prominent, muscular bumper further enhance its road presence. This car no longer just looks like a city vehicle, but also a rugged off-road SUV.

Engine and Mileage

The biggest mechanical change in the Brezza 2026 will be its engine, as Maruti is now introducing a 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo petrol engine for customers who love speed and thrills. With the update to hybrid technology, the new Brezza is expected to deliver impressive fuel economy of up to 30.1 km/l, making it the most economical car in its segment.

For CNG enthusiasts, it will feature the same reliable 1.5-liter engine that delivers a robust mileage of 25.51 km/kg. The most notable feature is that the CNG cylinder in the new Brezza can be fitted under the floor, freeing up the entire boot space, which has been a major problem with CNG cars.

Safety and High-Tech Features

Maruti is poised to make history in terms of safety, equipping the Brezza 2026 with Level 2 ADAS features. Premium features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking will help prevent accidents. Features like six airbags, electronic stability program, and hill hold assist will now be standard across all variants.

Inside, the cabin will now feature a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, ventilated seats and an electric sunroof make it a complete package for those who want to experience luxury on a low budget.
