What ingredients are required to make the Roasted Amla Chutney recipe?

Medium-sized Amla – 6 to 8

Green Chillies – 2

Garlic – 3-4 cloves

Ginger piece – 1 inch long

Coriander leaves – 1 handful

Salt – to taste

Roasted cumin powder – 1 teaspoon

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Oil – 1 teaspoon

How is Roasted Amla Chutney made?

Step 1- First, wash and dry the gooseberries thoroughly. Then, apply a little oil to the gooseberries and roast them on a pan.

Step 2- You can roast gooseberries over the hot ashes of a clay stove. Roast the gooseberries until they turn a light golden colour.

Step 3 – Now keep the Amla aside to cool down, then remove its seeds and keep them aside.

Step 4- Now add roasted amla, garlic, ginger, coriander leaves and a little water in the mixer and grind all the ingredients into a coarse chutney.

Step 5 – Now add roasted cumin powder, salt and lemon juice to this chutney and mix well.
Step 6- Your healthy and tasty gooseberry chutney is ready. This chutney can be served with parathas, dal-rice, or snacks.
