Shraddha Special Urad Dal Recipe
Today we are going to tell you such a Urad Dal recipe, which is made without garlic and onion. This recipe is very easy to make and very tasty to eat. So let’s know without delay how to make Urad Dal for Shraddha.
Ingredients:
1 cup washed urad dal
2 chopped tomatoes
1 inch chopped ginger
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
2 tablespoons coriander leaves
2 tablespoons desi ghee
Salt to taste
1 pinch asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cumin

Method of preparation:
First of all, wash the urad dal thoroughly and put it in a pressure cooker along with chopped tomatoes and ginger.
Now add turmeric, salt and water to it, close the lid of the cooker and cook on medium flame till 4 whistles.
After 4 whistles, turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker release itself.
After the pressure is released, take out the dal in a vessel.
Now heat desi ghee in a pan. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds in hot ghee and fry for some time.
Now add red chili powder to it and fry for 1 more minute.
Add this seasoning to the boiled dal and mix well.
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Your delicious and Shraddha masala Urad dal is ready. You can serve it with hot puri or roti.
