What ingredients are required to make Amritsari Chole?
Chickpeas – 1 cup
Tomatoes – 2 (finely chopped)
Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
Chopped garlic – 7-8 cloves
Cinnamon – 1-inch-long piece
Ginger – 1 inch long piece (finely chopped)

Bay leaves – 2
Long green chillies – 2, chopped
Big cardamom – 2
Cloves – 2
Teabag – 1
Red chilli powder – 3/4 teaspoon
Kasuri methi – 1/2 teaspoon
Amchur – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon.
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon.

Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon.
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Dry red chilli – 1
Salt – to taste

By which method is Amritsari Chole made?
Step 1- First of all, soak the gram in water for at least 6 hours.
Step 2- Then, drain the chickpeas and put them in the pressure cooker. Now, add two and a half cups of water to the pressure cooker.
Step 3- Then add big cardamom, bay leaf, cloves, tea bag, baking soda and salt as per taste, then cover the cooker and keep the flame low.
Step 4 – Now cook the gram till the cooker whistles four times, then turn off the gas.

Step 5 – Now, take a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and heat it over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and fry them.
Step 6 – Now add chopped ginger and garlic in it, and then after stirring it with a ladle for a few seconds, add finely chopped onion in it and then fry for 2 minutes.
Step 7 – Then when the onion starts turning light brown, add all the spices and salt to it.
Step 8- After that, crush the kasuri methi with your hands, add the spices, and fry for about a minute. Then, add the tomatoes and let the gravy cook. Then, cover the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 9- Now, remove the chickpeas from the cooker and put them in a pan, mix well, and cook. Add green chillies as well. Then, add dry mango powder, cook for 2 minutes, and then turn off the heat.
