LPG Cylinder Price: The ongoing tension in West Asian countries is affecting many countries around the world, including India. The situation seems to be gradually getting out of control. Prices of LPG, oil, and various daily necessities are soaring rapidly. No one knows when the situation will improve. Meanwhile, a question about LPG cylinders is repeatedly arising: Will the price of cylinders increase or decrease again in June? Let’s find out.
Last month, consumers of commercial LPG cylinders experienced a price increase of nearly Rs 1,000. Before that, users of domestic LPG cylinders faced a Rs 60 inflationary impact. This price hike has raised the cost of a 19-kg commercial cylinder in Delhi to Rs 3,071.50, while a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder now costs Rs 913. Unfortunately, another shock seems to be on the horizon.
Consultancy firm EY has issued a warning in a report stating that if the global crisis persists for an extended period, we could see a significant increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, LPG, and fertilizers. Oil companies now review rates on the first of every month, so new prices may be implemented from June 1st. It remains to be seen whether consumers will experience relief from inflation in June or whether the market will become even more heated.
