New Delhi, CTET Answer Key 2026: Millions of candidates who took the CTET exam are eagerly awaiting the release of the answer key. They are waiting for the link to the answer key to be activated on the official website. After the exam, candidates eagerly await the answer key to check their performance. The CTET provisional answer key will be released by CBSE soon on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Once the answer key is released, candidates will be able to verify their answers. The CTET 2026 exam was conducted in two shifts on February 7th and 8th, 2026.

The exam was conducted offline. It consisted of Paper I (classes 1-5) and Paper II (classes 6-8). The exam was conducted in 140 cities across the country. It is being said that the results may be released in March. If any question or answer is found to be inaccurate, candidates can file an objection online for a fee. Based on the answer key, students can estimate their expected marks and decide their preparation direction before the results are released.

To pass the CTET exam, general category candidates must score 90 out of 150 marks, while Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backwards Class, and differently-abled candidates must score 82 out of 150 marks. For more information, candidates are advised to visit the official website.

Click the CTET Answer Key 2026 link on the website’s home page.

A new page will open on your screen where candidates will enter their login details.

Click on submit, and your provisional key will be displayed.

Check the provisional key.

Keep a hard copy for future use.

Processing fee to raise objections
Candidates can raise objections to the answer key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹1000/- per question.

Objection window details
After the answer key is released, the objection window will also be opened. The answer key and objection window will remain open on the official website for 2-3 days.

How to raise an objection to the CTET Answer Key 2026?

Go to the official CTET website ctet.nic.in
Click on the “Show Answer Key/Challenge” link.
Enter your roll number and date of birth.
After logging in, click on “Submit Key Challenge.”
Select the question you object to and choose the correct answer.
Click the “Select to Challenge” button.
Click on “Make Payment.”
Pay the fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Your objection will be submitted once the fee is paid.
