UGC NET Exam Date 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for the UGC NET June examination. Candidates appearing for the exam can now check the schedule via the official website. Very few days remain before the exam begins. The NTA UGC NET exam will be conducted between June 22 and June 30.

The exam will be held in two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exam city slip will be released a few days before the exam; candidates will be able to download it from the official NTA website. Additionally, the admit card will be released 3 or 4 days before the exam starts.

How to Download the UGC NET Exam Date 2026

To download the admit card, first visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section on the website’s homepage.
Click on the link for the ‘NTA UGC NET June Admit Card 2026’.
Enter your login details and click the submit button.
Once the login details are entered, the admit card will appear on your screen.
Finally, make sure to take a printout of it.

UGC NET Guidelines

Carrying electronic items inside the UGC NET examination hall is not permitted. Bringing gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, and pen drives into the exam centre is strictly prohibited.

Dress Code

In accordance with the exam centre’s dress code, please wear comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing jewellery, heavily embroidered garments, or clothing with multiple pockets.

Along with your UGC NET admit card, you must carry at least two government-issued photo identity proofs. These may include an Aadhaar card, a Voter ID card, a PAN card, a driving license, or a passport.
