CTET 2026: The last date to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 is 10 June 2026 till 11:59 pm. The application process started from May 11. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet should apply before 11:59 pm. The application has to be completed by visiting the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in. The deadline for online fee payment is also till 11:59 pm on June 10, 2026. Along with this, candidates will also be given a chance to make corrections in the form from June 15 to 18, 2026. In such a situation, all the candidates are advised to complete the application process before the scheduled time.

Fill in all the required details.
After entering the details, upload scanned copies.
Pay the fee and submit the form.

When will the exam be held?
CTET exam will be conducted on September 06, 2026. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9.30 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will continue from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be asked 150 multiple-choice questions of 150 marks.
Eligibility for CTET 2026
Candidates applying for CTET Paper 1 (Class 1–5) must have at least 50% marks. Apart from this, one should have a 12th pass and a 2-year D.El.Ed. Apart from this, 12th pass with 50% marks and four years of B.Ed. Then 12th pass with 50% marks and two years D.El.Ed (Special Education).
Candidates for CTET Paper 2 (Class 6–8) must be graduates with a 2-year D.El.Ed. Apart from this, one should have passed 12th with 50% marks with a four-year B.Ed. 12th pass with 50% marks along with four years integrated BA/BSc/B.Ed.
