CTET Answer Key 2026 Released Today? How to Check Provisional Key at ctet.nic.in

CBSE CTET Answer Key 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the answer key very soon. The CBSE is scheduled to release the answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on its official website, ctet.nic.in. The exam was conducted nationwide on February 7 and 8, 2026. Once the answer key is released, candidates can check and download the provisional answer key.

How to Download CTET Answer Key?

Click on the link titled “Login: CTET Feb 2026 Answer Key” on the homepage.
Enter your registration ID and password.
The answer key will appear on the screen.
Download and save it for future reference.

When will the result be released?
After the provisional answer key is released, candidates can assess their performance by comparing the questions and answers. The result is expected to be released by the last week of March.

Minimum Passing Cutoff
The cutoff for passing this exam is 60% for the General category and 55% for the OBC/SC/ST/PWD category.

After the answer key is released, candidates can compare their questions and answers with it. If a candidate is not happy with any answer in the answer key, they can file an objection within the stipulated time. Candidates will have to pay ₹1000 for each question.

Qualifying Marks and Certificate Validity
General category candidates must score at least 60% (90 marks). For SC, ST, and OBC candidates, the passing mark is 55% (82 marks). The CTET certificate is valid for life. This means you don’t need to retake the exam and can use it to apply for teaching positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other government schools.
