Government Jobs in Bihar: After his return to power in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is once again focusing on the issue of unemployment. Nitish Kumar’s government is soon planning a massive recruitment drive for positions in the health department, which is generating considerable enthusiasm among the youth.
It is expected that the government will soon complete the recruitment process for over 33,000 positions in the health department, and preparations are underway at the departmental level. On Tuesday, Bihar’s newly appointed Health Minister, Mangal Pandey, made a significant announcement. Upon assuming office, he announced that the recruitment process for over 33,000 positions in the health department would be completed in the coming days. This is considered a major step by the government in the employment sector.
Health Minister Gives Important Information
Health Minister Mangal Pandey, in the Bihar government, has given important information to journalists. He informed that the recruitment process for over 26,000 positions in the health department is in its final stages and will be completed soon. He said that a plan to fill 7,600 additional positions under the National Health Mission (NHM) will also be implemented soon.
He further stated that three new medical colleges being constructed in Vaishali, Siwan, and Bhojpur will become operational next year. The opening of these institutions will increase the number of doctors in the state and strengthen health education and medical services.
Government Promises Over One Crore Jobs
For information, the NDA had promised over one crore jobs to the people of Bihar during the elections. The first meeting of the Nitish Kumar cabinet was held on Tuesday. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar posted information about the meeting on the social media platform X. In the post, he wrote, “It has been our priority from the beginning to provide government jobs and employment to as many youth as possible in the state.
Under Saat Nischay-2, 5 million youth in the state were provided government jobs and employment between 2020-25. In the next five years (2025-30), we have set a target of providing jobs and employment to 1 crore youth.”
