Meanwhile, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,54,238 per 10 grams at the close of the market on Friday.

Since today is Sunday, the market is closed, and these same rates remain applicable for today, June 7. Notably, according to IBJA, the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹1,298 over the past week. In Delhi, the morning rate for 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,55,910 per 10 grams. If you are considering purchasing gold, you should check the latest rates beforehand.

MCX Gold Price
By the time the commodity market closed on MCX at 11:30 PM on Friday, gold prices had fallen by ₹3,947 to settle at ₹1,55,600 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices dropped by ₹16,595 to settle at ₹2,48,201 per kilogram.

In the US, spot gold fell by 3.2 per cent to $4,330.10 per ounce on June 5, while silver dropped by 7.1 per cent to $68.63 per ounce.
