Banks in Vijayawada will remain closed on June 25 due to the festival of Muharram. Elsewhere in the country, banks will remain open on this day.

According to the RBI calendar, banks will observe a holiday on June 26 in numerous cities across the country on account of Muharram. On this day, banks will remain open in only a few select cities. The cities where banks will remain open are Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Kochi, Kohima, Panaji, Shillong, and Shimla.

On June 29, banks will observe a holiday only in Shimla. The bank holiday in Shimla on June 29 has been declared on account of Sant Kabir Jayanti. Banks across the rest of the country will remain open on this day. The following day, June 30, banks will be closed in just one city across the nation. This city is none other than Aizawl. In Aizawl, banks will observe a holiday on June 30 on the occasion of Remna Ni. Apart from this, banks will remain open throughout the rest of the country.
