In the national capital, Delhi, the price of a commercial gas cylinder has risen to ₹3,113.50. Previously, this price stood at ₹3,071.50. Since the outbreak of war in the Middle East on February 28, the price of commercial cylinders in the country has increased by a total of ₹1,373. In Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, the price of a commercial cylinder has risen by ₹53 starting today, reaching ₹3,255.50.

In Bengaluru, the price of a commercial cylinder is recorded at ₹3,198 today. In Mumbai, the rate has increased from ₹3,024 to ₹3,067.50. In Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, the price of a commercial cylinder—which was previously ₹3,237—has now risen to ₹3,283. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the price of a commercial cylinder has reached ₹3,236. In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, the 19-kilogram commercial cylinder is recorded at ₹3,155.

No Change in Domestic Cooking Gas Cylinder Prices

Indian oil companies have kept the prices of domestic cooking gas cylinders unchanged. This means that as of June 1st—that is, today—there has been no alteration whatsoever in the prices of domestic cylinders. Consequently, a domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) in Delhi remains priced at ₹913 today. The price stands at ₹916.50 in Jaipur and ₹920 in Ahmedabad. Since the outbreak of war in the Middle East on February 28, the price of domestic cylinders in the country has risen by ₹60.

5-kg Cylinders Also Become More Expensive

For your information, gas companies have hiked the price of 5-kg non-domestic cylinders by ₹11. The price of this cylinder in Delhi has now reached ₹821.50. A new cylinder can be purchased for a price ranging between ₹1,765.50 and ₹1,779.50. The price of a 2-kg FTL cylinder is ₹1,062.50, while a refill can be purchased for ₹354.50.
