The MG4 EV coming to India will be a rear-wheel-drive electric hatchback, which is specifically designed with both practicality and driving fun in mind. It is expected to receive two battery options — 51 kWh and 64 kWh, whose WLTP range can go up to around 450 km. Fast charging support will be one of its biggest strengths, which will eliminate the concern of daily charging to a great extent.

The same Front offers sleek LED projector headlamps, split honeycomb pattern grille and aggressive air ducts. Connected LED tail-lamps in rear, sporty spoiler and bold bumper give MG4 EV a premium EV look.

Battery and Performance
Now talk The most interesting part of MG4 EV is its battery technology. In the global market, MG is offering it in Anxin Edition with semi-solid-state battery — and it is the world’s first production EV that uses such batteryy tech. However, only the standard LFP batteries are expected to be found initially in India.
Its standard battery options will have a range of 42.8 kWh (437 km range) and 53.9 kWh (530 km range). The MG4 EV has a six-in-one integrated electric motor, which performs 161 hp power and 250 Nm torque produce. Lightweight platform and balanced dynamics make it stable on highways with city as well. Its top speed is about 160 km / h.

MG4 EV Price in India
While the price of MG4 EV in China starts at around ₹8.5 lakhs, its pricing in India is considered to be close to ₹30 lakhs (ex-showroom). This price is considered justified due to import duties, battery cost and localization level. MG4 EV can give these EVs competition to Tata Nexon EV (long range varieties), BYD Dolphin and Hyundai Kona EV after arrival in India.
