Discount
This festive season, Hyundai Motor India has significantly reduced the price of its most popular premium hatchback, the i20. Previously, the i20 Magna variant was priced at ₹7,78,800. Now, after the implementation of GST 2.0, its new price has come down to ₹7,12,385. This translates to a direct benefit of ₹66,415.
Additionally, the company is offering discounts of up to ₹45,000 on all variants of this car. Furthermore, the N6 DCT variant has received the biggest price cut. Originally priced at ₹11,30,800, it has now dropped to ₹10,23,391. This means the price of this model has been reduced by approximately ₹95,000.

Engine and Performance
Hyundai’s i20 is powered by a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 hp and 115 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission. The company has added an Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature to this engine, which improves fuel efficiency. However, the company has now discontinued the 1.0-liter turbo petrol variant, which previously came with a 7-speed DCT and 6-speed iMT gearboxes.
Features
Hyundai has always been known for its feature-packed cars, and the i20 is a prime example. This car comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Additionally, it offers features like a 7-speaker Bose sound system, a wireless charger, a single-pane sunroof, and automatic climate control. The car is available in six monotone and two dual-tone color options, including attractive shades like Amazon Grey.

The i20 also leads its segment in terms of safety. The company has provided 26 standard safety features. These include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), three-point seat belts, and seat belt reminders for all seats. In addition, the car also offers over 60 connected car features, 127 embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Features like ABS with EBD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), reverse parking sensors, and automatic headlamps make it a great car for safety.
