The next-generation Kia Seltos is slowly emerging. New spy images have confirmed its radical design and larger size. The SUV looks more boxy and muscular than ever before, and is inspired by the global model, the Telluride. It’s expected to feature larger LED lighting, 19-inch wheels, and a wide sunroof.

Boxy and bigger look
The new Kia Seltos has a completely redesigned look influenced by the Telluride SUV in the global market. The old model’s rounded profile is now replaced by the boxy and strong shape. The SUV has been tested in North America, and has a clear LED lighting setup.
The SUV is now slowly losing camoflase, hoping to launch it soon. Orange DRLs will be found in the front with wide grills like Telluride and square headlamps. Indo-specific models may have a change in the internal design of the headlamps.

Speaking of the rear, the rear also has a square profile, with new tailgate designs and LED taillights like Telluride. The wheel arch’s flared design, shark fin antennas and roof-integrated spoiler are also among its major features.
Interiors and Features
The interior of the new Kia Seltos has not yet been fully exposed, but it is expected that it will continue its premium and feature-loaded style. The cabin layout can be inspired by larger Kia models such as Carnival and EV9. It is likely to receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, 12.3-inch infotainment unit, and a 5-inch climate control display.
Speaking of features, the new Seltos can feature dual zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver seats, ventilated front seats and second row sliding and reclining functions. Apart from this, modern security technologies like LEVEL 2 ADAS and front parking sensor will also be seen.

Engine and performance
Petrol and diesel engine options will be available in the new generation Kia Seltos for India. Engine options may include 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will also be offered.

Apart from this, the SUV will also get a Strong hybrid engine, but it will be launched in India in 2027. The global-specific model will feature a 141hp, 1.6L hybrid engine with an electronic AWD system. The Indo-Specific hybrid version can be based on a 1.5L NA petrol engine.
