Vaibhav Suryavanshi again showed his class

India A didn’t have a good start. Wickets fell at regular intervals to make up for the loss. The Indian batting’s poor form can be gauged from the fact that six of their batsmen failed to reach double figures. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored the most runs for India A. He played an innings of 45 runs in 28 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from him, Naman Dheer scored 35 runs in 20 balls, Harsh Dubey scored 19 runs in 15 balls, Ramandeep Singh scored 11 runs in 9 balls, Priyansh Arya scored 10 runs in 9 balls.

Suyash Sharma and Ashutosh Sharma could not open their account, while captain Jitesh Sharma scored 5 runs and Nehal Wadhera scored 8 runs. Gurjapneet Singh remained unbeaten after scoring 1 run. Shahid Aziz was the most successful bowler for Pakistan, taking 3/24 in his 4 overs. Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat took 2 wickets each, while Ubaid Shah Ahmed Daniyal and Sufyan Muqeem took 1 wicket each. Young left-handed opener Vaibhav hit a four or a six off every Pakistani bowler he faced.

Vaibhav’s powerful batting helped India reach 50 in the powerplay. He continued his attack even after that, taking the team to 81 in nine overs. Then, in the 10th over, Pakistan’s senior team spinner Sufian Muqeem hit a four off the first ball and then a six off the next.
