A clash has been witnessed between Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah and former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard. There was a heated argument between the two during the ILT20 final at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

Seeing the situation getting heated, the on-field umpire rushed to the spot and somehow calmed both of them down. The incident happened on the last ball of the 11th over of MI Emirates’ batting innings, when Pollard defended the ball of Desert Vipers’ Naseem Shah.

The entire incident occurred after the last ball of the 11th over of MI Emirates’ innings. Naseem Shah delivered a fast, good-length delivery that Kieron Pollard could do nothing but defend. The MI Emirates captain was struggling to score runs when Naseem Shah looked at him with a smile after bowling a dot ball.

This action by the Pakistani player infuriated Kieron Pollard, who reprimanded Naseem on the field and showed him the mirror. However, the Pakistani player did not remain silent, and a verbal war broke out between the two players. Seeing the situation on the field becoming heated, the umpires and other Desert Vipers players intervened and calmed the two players down.

It’s also worth noting that Naseem Shah bowled brilliantly in this match, taking 3 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs. Kieron Pollard, on the other hand, failed to do much, returning to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs off 28 balls. Ultimately, Pollard’s wicket was also taken by Naseem Shah.

Sam Curran-led Desert Vipers defeated MI Emirates by 46 runs in the final of the ILT20 2025-26 to win their first title. Previously, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Dubai Capitals had achieved this feat.
