He announced his retirement from the T20 format following India’s victory in the ICC T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma scored a total of 4,231 runs across 159 T20 International matches, maintaining an average of 32.05.
He also scored five centuries in T20 cricket. Although Smriti Mandhana surpassed Rohit Sharma against South Africa, her innings was cut short after she scored just 13 runs.
