You get Rs 6000 annually

To provide financial support to small and marginal farmers, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is transferred in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months directly to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), eliminating any middlemen.

Complete your e-KYC immediately, or you won’t receive your money

To ensure your Rs2,000 installment is credited to your account without interruption, you should complete your e-KYC immediately. Without this, the installment will not be released. Also, ensure that your bank account is linked to your government identification card (Aadhaar card) and is active.

Farmers can complete their e-KYC using any of these three methods, as per their convenience: OTP-based: By visiting the PM Kisan portal and using the OTP received on their registered mobile number. Biometric-based: By visiting their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) and providing their thumbprint. Face Authentication: This can also be easily completed by scanning their face through the PM Kisan app.

If you want to see your name and payment status on the list, follow these steps. First, visit the official PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in). Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option on the website’s homepage. Now, enter your account number or registered identification number. Then, click on ‘Get Data’ to display your complete payment and eligibility status.
