New Delhi: The UP government is taking significant strides toward the state’s development—efforts that are already yielding visible results. A major decision has been taken by the government led by CM Yogi Adityanath. During a cabinet meeting chaired by Yogi Adityanath, it was decided that CM Fellows would now be deployed across all 75 districts of the state.
This initiative aims to ensure effective monitoring of work in every district and to accelerate the pace of development. Under this new scheme, two specialists will be appointed in each of the state’s 75 districts. These appointees will include one Economic Development Fellow and one Data Analyst Fellow. Both officials will work in close coordination with the District Magistrate.
Focus Areas
Did you know that the role of these fellows will not be limited merely to data collection? They will play a pivotal role in formulating new strategies for the district’s development. Special emphasis will be placed on sectors such as agriculture, industry, employment, investment, and tourism. This approach will help identify specific areas that require improvement.
Monitoring via Digital Dashboard
Previously, the monitoring of government schemes often relied on paper-based reports or delayed data. Now, this entire system is set to become fully digital. An online dashboard will be utilised to track the progress of every scheme. This will enable immediate identification of which districts or sectors are lagging and where improvements are needed. Consequently, decisions can be made more swiftly, and the overall impact of the schemes can be enhanced.
