West Bengal governor receives death threat, security heightened

Bengal Governor Death Threat: A political storm has erupted in the country following the ED raid on the I-PAC office and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s visit there. Amidst the heat of this entire incident, a threatening email received by West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has shocked everyone. Following the receipt of the threatening email, the Governor’s security has been further tightened. The email contained a threat to assassinate Governor CV Ananda Bose.

This incident came to light late Thursday night at the Lok Bhavan, the Raj Bhavan office in Kolkata. Since then, the police and all security agencies have been on high alert.
