CUET UG 2026 Exam Postponed: Major news has emerged for students appearing for the CUET UG 2026 examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has temporarily postponed the CUET-UG 2026 exam, which was scheduled for May 28. The NTA informed candidates about the postponement of the CUET UG 2026 exam by sharing a post on the social media platform ‘X’. This decision was made by the agency following a change to the scheduled date of the Eid al-Adha (Bakrid) holiday.

Consequently, all candidates who were scheduled to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam will now have to wait a few more days. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the new exam date shortly; students are requested to wait patiently for this announcement.

Why was the exam date postponed?
Originally, the nationwide holiday for Eid al-Adha (Eid-ul-Zuha) was scheduled for May 27; however, following a new notification from the Central Government, the date was revised. Since this is a national holiday and millions of students celebrate this festival with great fervor, both shifts of the CUET-UG examination—originally scheduled for May 28, 2026—have been postponed keeping this factor in mind.

The NTA has stated that the new examination date for candidates will be announced very soon. Students are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.
