UP Monsoon Alert: Once it seemed that the monsoon had become very sluggish in Uttar Pradesh, but now the mood of the weather has worsened again. Monsoon is seen making a strong comeback in UP again. The south-west monsoon is ready to soak people everywhere. 16 September, i.e. today is not going to be an easy day. There is a possibility of catastrophic rain in many places.
For the last two days, the scorching heat in western UP has made life sweaty. People were suffering from the humid heat. But now clouds have been overcast since late at night. Drizzle in some parts has also brought relief from humidity. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert of heavy rain with thunder and lightning has been issued in more than 50 districts of UP.

If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sant Ravidas Nagar and Jaunpur. IMD has issued an alert of heavy rain in Azamgarh, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj and Siddharthnagar.
Apart from these, heavy rains are expected in Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Balrampur, Gonda, Shravasti, Bahraich and Lakhimpur Kheri. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Barabanki, Amethi, Ayodhya, and Sultanpur.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Ghazipur and Ballia. IMD has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Mau, Etawah, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Auraiya and Firozabad. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Etah, Agra, Mathura, Hathrath, Aligarh, Jhansi, Mahoba, Hamirpur and Kanpur.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of the monsoon returning to Lucknow as well. A period of moderate rain can be seen here amid the movement of clouds. Due to the rain, the weather in Lucknow can be pleasant. Clouds will be seen hovering here on 17th September as well. According to IMD, if we talk about the people of Noida, then they can also get some relief from the heat today. Rain is also expected in Ghaziabad.
