Till this date, you can update your identity and address proof by visiting the MyAadhaar portal, for which you will not have to pay any charge. However, this facility is available only online.
If you want to make this change by visiting the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50. On the other hand, updating biometric data like fingerprint or iris scan will cost Rs 100. How to update Aadhaar card?
The process of updating the Aadhaar card is easy and you can complete it from home. First of all, go to the official website of UIDAI myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in . Select the document update option there and login with OTP by entering the registered mobile number. After this, your Aadhaar details will appear. If the information is correct. So choose the documents of identity and address proof and upload their scanned copies. After submitting, your request will be accepted and you will get a 14 digit update request number i.e. URN. Through which you can track the update status.
