Monsoon Alert – Not only North India but also Uttar Pradesh is experiencing fluctuating weather conditions. Dense fog has enveloped various parts of the state, while cold winds are blowing in others, causing people to shiver. The worsening weather is making life difficult for everyone.
Due to snowfall in the hills, icy winds have intensified the cold in UP, making life increasingly difficult for the people. The situation is becoming so bad that the temperature has dropped significantly.

Lucknow Weather
The weather in Lucknow, the capital of UP, is expected to remain quite cold. Sunshine is expected to provide some relief from the biting cold. Dense fog may prevail during the night. Cold winds are expected, further increasing the chill.
A significant difference in day and night temperatures is expected. In Noida and Ghaziabad, bordering Delhi, the cold winds have intensified the chill. Similar conditions are expected to persist for the next week.
Dense Fog Warning in Several Districts
The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur, and Bijnor are likely to experience dense fog. Besides these, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, and Pilibhit are also expected to have dense fog.
The Meteorological Department has warned of extremely dense fog in Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Barabanki, and Ayodhya. Dense fog is expected in Gonda, Shravasti, Balrampur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Basti. The IMD has predicted dense to very dense fog in Ambedkar Nagar and Kushinagar today. Zero visibility is expected in many areas due to the fog.

According to the IMD, dense fog is also expected in Noida, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, and Hathras. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas.
The IMD has also predicted dense fog in Etah, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, and Hardoi. The meteorological department has also forecast dense fog in Unnao, Lucknow, Raebareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, and Mau. A dense fog warning has been issued for Ballia and Ghazipur today.
