Lucknow Weather

Dense Fog Warning in Several Districts

The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur, and Bijnor are likely to experience dense fog. Besides these, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, and Pilibhit are also expected to have dense fog.

The Meteorological Department has warned of extremely dense fog in Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Barabanki, and Ayodhya. Dense fog is expected in Gonda, Shravasti, Balrampur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Basti. The IMD has predicted dense to very dense fog in Ambedkar Nagar and Kushinagar today. ​​Zero visibility is expected in many areas due to the fog.

According to the IMD, dense fog is also expected in Noida, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, and Hathras. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas.
