Monsoon Alert: The country’s capital, Delhi, has been experiencing severe heat for the last three to four days. Due to the scorching sun and scorching heat, people’s lives have become miserable. In the last week of April, the temperature crossed 40 degrees. However, as of today, i.e., April 29, a change in the weather is being observed.

In Noida, adjacent to the Delhi-NCR region, cold winds have been blowing since morning, and the sky is overcast. People have found some relief from the chilly winds. On the other hand, when it comes to Rajasthan’s weather, the highest temperature of April was recorded in Jaisalmer. Meanwhile, warnings of storms and rain in many districts have increased the anxiety of the people.

Weather conditions in Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding storm and rain within the next 24 hours in many districts, including Jaipur, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Bharatpur. Apart from this, the weather in the northern and eastern parts of the state can change due to the activation of western disturbances and the combination of local winds. Apart from this, there is a possibility of a dust storm at a speed of 40 to 60 km per hour.

On the one hand, people’s lives have become difficult due to intense heat and heat waves. On the other hand, there is also a threat of storm and rain. This double attack of weather seems to be severely affecting everyday life.

How will the weather be today?

According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, Delhi is going to be partly cloudy today. Apart from this, a warning has also been issued for lightning along with thunder. The minimum temperature is 25 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is 39 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to remain the same on the following day, i.e., April 30.

Rain & Thunderstorm Alert in These States
The Meteorological Department estimates that on May 1 and 2, it issued an alert regarding thunderstorms along with rain. Additionally, a drop in temperature has also been observed. The maximum temperature is expected to drop to 37 degrees Celsius. Then a series of strong surface winds will start during the day.

According to Skymet, the weather is expected to remain active between May 1 and May 6. During this time, light rain, thunderstorms, dust storms, strong winds are expected. Apart from this, light activity will be observed on May 1 and 2, but the intensity will increase thereafter. Pre-monsoon storms with strong winds are expected between May 4 and 6.

Light to heavy rains are expected in Northeast India. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds is expected in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Kerala, and Southern Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has predicted that light rain may occur in some parts of Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep.
