Total Vacancies and Available Posts
The Rajasthan Police Force has announced recruitment in a total of 9617 constable posts. These include positions such as General Constable, Driver, Band, and Police Telecommunication Operator. These posts are available in various districts, units, and battalions of the state.
Eligibility Criteria
To become appointed in these vacancies, the candidates should have passed Class 12. The age should be typically 18 to 28 years. However, the candidates who are from the reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government norms. The candidates should also have recently passed the Secondary Level CET conducted by the Staff Selection Board.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be carried out in three phases. The written examination will be conducted in the first phase. The candidates who pass the first phase will be summoned for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The third phase will be verification of documents. Only those candidates who pass all the three phases will be recruited.
Physical Standards Requirement
As per the physical requirements, male candidates must be at least 168 cm tall and female candidates must be at least 152 cm tall. Male candidates must have a minimum chest measurement of 81 cm unexpanded and 86 cm expanded. Men should run 5 km in 25 minutes and women should run in 35 minutes in the running test.
Application Fee Details
For OBC, General, and EWS candidates, an application fee of ₹600 has to be paid. For ST and SC candidates, it is ₹400. They can pay at Rajathan e-Mitra centers on a cash, debit card, credit card, or net banking basis.
