Madhya Pradesh accident: A tragic accident took place on National Highway 44 in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday morning, shocking everyone. Five BDDS personnel, returning from Morena after completing their duty, collided with a truck in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh at around 4 am on Wednesday. Four personnel died on the spot, while one was seriously injured. The accident was so devastating that the front portion of the police vehicle was completely destroyed, trapping the personnel inside.
The journey of the bomb disposal team, which was returning to Morena after completing its duty in Balaghat, turned into a tragic one. The impact of the collision was so severe that the police had to cut the vehicle’s frame open with the help of a JCB to retrieve the bodies. The dog squad’s dog is safe, while a constable is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The deceased and injured have been identified.
The official stated that the deceased have been identified as Constable Pradyumna Dixit, Constable Aman Kaurav, driver Paramlal Tomar, and dog master Vinod Sharma. Constable Rajiv Chauhan was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at Bansal Hospital in Bhopal. His condition is currently stated to be critical. A dog present in the police vehicle at the time of the accident is completely safe.
The official stated that prima facie, it appears that the driver of the police vehicle lost control, leading to the tragic accident.
The police are currently investigating the matter. Officials stated that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
