UP Board Exam 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has released the complete schedule for the pre-board examinations. The exams will be conducted from January 8 to January 21, 2026. The dates for the High School and Intermediate Pre-Board Exams 2026 have been announced. According to the information, pre-board examinations will be held in schools across the state from January 8 to January 21, 2026. The UP Board has issued strict instructions to schools to create an environment for the pre-board examinations that mirrors the actual board exams. This will give students an authentic experience of the board examinations.

UP Board Pre Board: Which schools will conduct the exams?
The pre-board examinations will be conducted simultaneously in government, aided, and unaided schools. The board has clearly stated that examinations will be conducted in accordance with the prescribed standards to provide students with an experience similar to the real board examination. Schools have been instructed to strictly adhere to the timetable and avoid placing unnecessary pressure on students.

Practical Exams will be completed on these dates.
Before the pre-board examinations, the UP Board has already announced the dates for the practical examinations. The 10th and 12th practical examinations will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will be from January 24 to February 1, 2026 (excluding January 29 and 30). The second phase of practical examinations will run from February 2 to February 9, 2026.

From January 24 to February 1, 2026, practical examinations will be conducted in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti divisions. Additionally, from February 2 to February 9, 2026, practical exams will be conducted in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur divisions. Board examinations for more than 52 lakh students will be conducted from February 18 to March 12, 2026.

UP 12th Board Exam Date and Time
The UP Intermediate exam will also be conducted in two shifts. The timing will be exact as high school from 8:30 am to 11:45 am (first shift) and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm (second shift).

Sanskrit and English will be held on February 20, History on February 21, Biology and Mathematics on February 23, Economics on February 24, Chemistry and Sociology on February 25, Geography on February 26, Physics and Military Science on February 27, Anthropology on March 7, Psychology, Education and Logic on March 9, Computer on March 12.
