New Delhi: The UP Board is conducting the 10th and 12th grade exams, a matter for which the department is on high alert. This time, the exam schedule is being conducted with transparency, under the watchful eye of CCTV cameras. High school and intermediate exams will run until March 12, 2016. After the exams are over, the evaluation of answer sheets will begin.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has already begun preparations for this task, awaiting the end of the exams. Furthermore, the board has issued instructions for step-marking in evaluation. This means that even if a question is answered incorrectly, there will still be a chance of getting some marks. This is a significant gift from the board to students. The board has instructed them to evaluate answer sheets using step-marking.

The board’s order will result in a lottery for students.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad’s order will now benefit 10th and 12th-grade students. Students often solve the entire question using the formula in board exams, but often get the answer wrong. Step marking will now award students marks for the number of steps they solve correctly during paper evaluation.
This will eliminate the fear of failing. Step marking will be applied specifically to math and science subjects. Students make the most mistakes in these subjects. If the first answer is incorrect, they will not receive marks for that answer.

Exams will end on March 12th
For information, the UP Board high school and intermediate examinations have been conducted since February 18th. The last paper will be held on March 12th, 2026. A total of 5,230,297 students have registered for both classes. Of these, 2,750,945 are registered in high school, of which 1,438,683 are boys, and 1,312,263 are girls.
When will the results be released?
The Uttar Pradesh Board 10th and 12th class results may be released after April 20, 2026. This time, the UP Board results are expected to be good.
