RRB JE Exam Date 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the exam dates for the Junior Engineer recruitment. When will the exam start?
The Junior Engineer CBT-1 exam will be conducted at various examination centres across the country on February 19th, 20th, and March 3rd, 2026. The CBT-1 exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions from subjects including Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. The exam will be one hour and thirty minutes long. There will be a negative marking of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer.
How many vacancies are there?
A total of 2585 Junior Engineer positions will be filled, including 1096 positions for General category candidates, 246 for EWS, 620 for OBC, 411 for SC, and 212 for ST categories.
When will the city slip be released?
According to the official notification, the exam city slip for the Junior Engineer exam will be released 10 days before the exam. The admit card will be released four days before the exam. All candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB website.
