CTET 2026: The CTET exam was conducted on February 7th and 8th. Candidates who took the exam are eagerly awaiting their answer keys. Media reports suggest the answer keys may be released very soon. Meanwhile, exams were cancelled at two exam centres in Vaishali (Hajipur), Bihar (125016 – St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar and 125014 – Lakshya International Academy). The Central Board of Secondary Education will now conduct re-exams at these centres on March 1st, 2026. Admit cards for the exam will be released soon.
When will the admit cards be released?
According to a CBSE notification, admit cards for candidates appearing at these centres will be available for download very soon. Admit cards will be released on the official website, where candidates can download them by entering their login details. All candidates must bring their admit card and a valid original ID to the exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter without their admit card.
When will the answer key be released?
Millions of candidates who took the CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams are awaiting the release of the answer key. However, it is now estimated that the CBSE will release the provisional answer key after the re-exam is over. The answer key will allow candidates to compare their questions and answers and raise objections if they are not satisfied with any answer. A fee of ₹1,000 per question will be charged for filing an objection.

Click the CTET Answer Key 2026 link on the website’s home page.
A new page will open on your screen where candidates will enter their login details.
Click on submit, and your provisional key will be displayed.
Check the provisional key.
Keep a hard copy for future use.
