CLAT 2026 Answer Key: Big news is coming for students who appeared in the Common Law Admission Test 2026, conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The provisional answer key for this critical examination for admission to law courses has been released on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. This is extremely important for all students who appeared for the CLAT 2026 examination on December 7, 2025, for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Opportunity to Raise Objections
If any student believes there is an error in the answer to a question in the answer key, they may object. The objection-raising process started on December 10, 2025, at 5 PM and ended on December 12, 2025, at 5 PM. Students must submit their objections online via their CLAT candidate login portal.
A fee of Rs. 1000 per question must be paid to object. If the objection is found to be correct, this fee will be refunded. The consortium will consider all objections and then release the final answer key. The CLAT 2026 result will be based on this final answer key. Therefore, candidates are advised to submit their objections before the stipulated deadline.

The answer key will now open on the screen.

Exam Details
The CLAT 2026 exam was conducted on December 7. According to the notification, the examination was held at 156 centres across 93 cities in 25 states and 4 Union Territories. A total of 75,009 candidates registered for the undergraduate program examination, and 17,335 for the postgraduate (PG) program. Of these, 96.83% of undergraduate students and 92.45% of doctoral students appeared for the exam. The CLAT exam is used for admission to five-year integrated LLB and LLM courses.
