Petrol-Diesel Prices Today: As June 1st dawned, the very first jolt came in the form of a hike in the prices of commercial gas cylinders. Find Out What Changed from June 1st
Effective June 1, 2026, the Central Government has revised the duties applicable to the export of petrol and ATF. According to a notification issued by the Union Ministry of Finance, a decision has been taken to impose an export duty of ₹1.5 per litre on petrol, ₹13.5 per litre on diesel, and ₹9.5 per litre on ATF.

In the national capital, New Delhi, petrol is priced at ₹102.12 per litre. Prices of ₹113.51 per litre in Kolkata, ₹111.21 per litre in Mumbai, and ₹107.87 per litre in Chennai have been recorded. In Gurugram, which borders Delhi, petrol is being recorded at ₹102.62 per litre. As for Noida, the price of petrol appears to be hovering around ₹101.96 per litre.
In Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, the price stands at ₹110.89 per litre. In Bhubaneswar, petrol is currently trading at ₹108.97 per litre. In Chandigarh, petrol is priced at ₹101.51 per litre, while in Hyderabad, it appears to be trending at ₹115.69 per litre. In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, the price is trending at ₹112.66 per litre. In Lucknow, the capital of UP, petrol is being recorded at ₹101.89 per litre, and in Patna, at ₹114.24 per litre. In Thiruvananthapuram, petrol stands at ₹115.49 per litre.

On June 1st, diesel is being recorded at ₹95.20 per litre in New Delhi. Its price has been recorded at ₹99.82 per litre in Kolkata and ₹97.83 per litre in Mumbai. In Chennai, diesel is priced at ₹99.65 per litre. Diesel is at ₹95.30 per litre in Gurugram, ₹95.44 per litre in Noida, ₹98.80 per litre in Bengaluru, and ₹100.68 per litre in Bhubaneswar.
In Chandigarh, diesel is being recorded at ₹89.47 per litre. In Hyderabad, the price of diesel is hovering around ₹103.82 per litre. It appears to be trending at ₹97.78 per litre in Jaipur and ₹95.36 per litre in Lucknow. Diesel is selling at ₹100.20 per litre in Patna and ₹104.40 per litre in Thiruvananthapuram.
