Candidates who appeared for the JEE Advanced examination can now check their results via the official website. Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi Zone has secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in JEE Advanced 2026.
Shubham scored 330 marks out of a total of 360. In 2026, students from the IIT Delhi Zone have been the subject of widespread discussion, creating a sensation across the nation. A total of 1,87,389 candidates had registered for the exam. Of these, 1,79,694 students appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Registered Candidates: A total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for the examination this year.

Qualified Candidates: A total of 56,880 candidates successfully qualified.
Qualified Female Candidates: 10,107 female students were successful.
What comes next after the results?
JoSAA Counselling: Successful candidates will now participate in the JoSAA counselling process. College Selection: Through this counselling process, students will be granted admission to IITs and other participating educational institutions based on their ranks.
Students should select their preferred colleges based on their rank and preferences, after which seats will be allotted to them.
It is important to note that the Board has explicitly clarified that, this time around, there will be no mandatory requirement regarding Class 12 marks or percentages for students to participate in the JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process. Final admission to the IIT system and other premier engineering institutions will be considered confirmed only thereafter.
