AIBE 20 Registration 2026. There’s good news for candidates who wish to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20) 2025 but haven’t yet applied. What is the AIBE Exam?

The AIBE, or All India Bar Examination, is conducted for law graduates across the country. After passing this exam, candidates receive a “Certificate of Practice” (COP), which allows them to practice law in India. Without this certificate, no lawyer can appear in court.

AIBE 20: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to appear for the AIBE exam:

  • Candidates must have an LLB (3-year or 5-year) degree from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
  • General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must have at least 45% marks in graduation, while SC/ST category candidates must have at least 40% marks.
  • There is no age limit for this exam.

Application Fee

The application fee for the AIBE 20 exam is as follows, category-wise:
