Update your Aadhaar Card without any fees, Here is the process

Free Aadhaar Update- Big relief for Aadhaar Card holders. Now you can update your card in free. Yes you’ve heard it right. Aadhar card is the most common document used in India, about 90 percent of the country’s population has an Aadhar card. You need it for everything from getting admission in school-college to getting benefits of government schemes.

It is necessary to get these information updated. People think that they will have to pay money to get the update done and due to this, this work is often postponed. But let us tell you that now you can get your Aadhaar card updated for free. This facility is being provided to you by UIDAI.

To provide relief to the common people, UIDAI has given a great opportunity of free Aadhaar update. If you have not updated any details in your Aadhaar till now. Or have to make some changes, then this is the best time. You can update it from home without paying any fee. Earlier this facility was available till 14 June 2025 but now its time limit has been extended to 14 June 2026. This means you have more time now. But the condition for this is that this facility is available online only.

You can update your information online by visiting the My Aadhaar portal https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in . Through this portal, you can update information like address, date of birth in Aadhaar for free. But let us tell you that to take advantage of this facility, your mobile number must be registered in your Aadhaar card. If this is not the case then you will not be able to take advantage of this facility. Along with this, let us tell you that for any kind of biometric change, you will have to go to the Aadhaar center.
