The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is a government scheme launched by the Central Government through the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Additionally, if the delivery takes place in a government hospital or a registered private nursing home, the amount payable under the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is also provided. Thus, the total benefit can amount to approximately ₹6,000.
