: If you are awaiting the UGC NET exam, there is no need to worry; the release of admit cards is set to begin soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalised the schedule for the UGC NET June 2026 exam and announced the date for the release of admit cards.

The admit card () for UGC NET June 2026 is expected to be released by June 15, 2026. The exam itself will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between June 22 and June 30, 2026. According to reports, over 10 lakh candidates have applied for this exam. The application correction window for candidates closed on May 28, 2026.

Official Exam Schedule and Details

The National Testing Agency will conduct the exam in two shifts daily. The first shift will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) of continuous testing, comprising two papers with objective-type, multiple-choice questions. In view of the large number of candidates, the NTA has added four new regional centres in the North-Eastern region—specifically in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya.
