What is the goal of the scheme?
According to various reports, the primary goal of this scheme is to enhance the visibility of local products in both national and international markets. Additionally, it seeks to empower artisans, create more job opportunities, and bolster small industries.
What advantages does the scheme offer?
Beneficiaries selected for the program receive 10 days of training.
The training is entirely free of charge.
This program does not require residential attendance.
During the training, participants receive a daily stipend of Rs 200.
Upon finishing the training, a modern toolkit is provided.
Participants are also informed about new technologies and improved production techniques.
Who is eligible to apply?
Certain essential criteria have been established to access the benefits of the scheme.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
They should be involved in the manufacturing of the ODOP product specific to their district.
Applicants must not have previously benefited from any similar scheme offered by the Central or State Government.
