Reason for the delay in the refund
Many times, taxpayers are not able to get the refund on time even after completing the ITR filing. The biggest reason for this is the lack of a link between PAN and Aadhaar. If your PAN card is not linked to Aadhaar, then the refund amount may get stuck. How to link PAN to Aadhaar
To avoid any problem in the refund, the PAN card must be linked to Aadhaar. For this, go to the Income Tax e-filing website and click on the Link Aadhaar option. After this, the PAN and Aadhaar numbers have to be entered, and the same mobile number has to be filled which is registered in both documents.
