How to book tickets online using your IRCTC ID, Learn the step-by-step process

The Indian government is providing numerous facilities for the public. You can also take advantage of these facilities to travel by train. If you’re traveling on a long journey, you’ll definitely need to book a train ticket. Therefore, if you’re planning to book a train ticket, you don’t need to travel anywhere; you can book a ticket from the comfort of your home. To do this, first log in to the official IRCTC website. How to Create an Account on IRCTC

To do this, first visit the official IRCTC website, www.irctc.co.in. Then click on “Register.” A form will open, where you’ll need to enter your username.

After this, create a password and confirm it.

You will now be presented with several security options. Answer the security questions and select your language.

Following this, enter your full name in the Personal Details field. Enter the same name as your Aadhaar card.

Following this, enter your gender, whether male or female.

Following this, provide your date of birth, occupation, email address, mobile number, and home address.

An OTP will be sent to your mobile number, and your account will be created.

You can then log in to www.irctc.co.in with your username and password to book your ticket.

How to book tickets with IRCTC

First, go to the app, enter your password, and log in.

After this, click on “Plan My Journey” and search for a train by entering the station name.

Click on the class and other information displayed next to the train name, and click on “Book Now.”

Then, enter your name, age, mobile number, and click on the captcha.

After this, you will need to make the payment. You can use debit cards, credit cards, and UPI for payment.

You can find information about your booked tickets in the “My Bookings” section.
