Gold Price MCX: Gold prices declined today, May 29, 2026. On the MCX, the prices of both gold and silver have fallen today. Both metals are trending lower in early trading. Specifically, gold rates have dropped by ₹700, while silver has become cheaper by more than ₹1,500. On the MCX, gold for June 5 delivery had closed at ₹160,903 per 10 grams in the previous session.
Today—the final trading day of the week—it opened at ₹160,197, marking a decline of ₹706. By 10:10 AM, gold prices had fallen further, reaching ₹156,999 per 10 grams.
Silver Rates
Silver for July 3 delivery had closed at ₹269,537.00 per kilogram in the previous session; today, May 29, it opened at ₹268,368. In early trading, it was trending at ₹268,018, reflecting a decline of ₹1,519. However, as of 10:10 AM, the price of silver is trending at ₹268,950.
According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price was recorded at ₹156,072 per 10 grams as of Wednesday evening. The IBJA is scheduled to release today’s gold rates around 12:00 PM.
