Volkswagen has already teased the Tayron R-Line and is clear from its design that this SUV will be not just a family car, but also a style statement.

The interior of the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line will be very similar to the Tiguan R-Line, but the biggest change here will be the third row seats.

Engine and Performance
Volkswagen Tayron R-Line will be powered by the same reliable 2.0-liter TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine that powers several VW and Skoda models.
This engine produces 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system.

India Launch and Positioning
Volkswagen Tayron R-Line has been confirmed to be launched in India in Q1 2026. After launch it will become Volkswagen’s most expensive and most premium SUV.
